Doukhobor Dugout House
An active archeological site that was once home to a Doukhobor colony. Period costumed volunteers portray the life of the pioneer Doukhobors, including displays of religious beliefs and customs. Over 300 people lived in houses dug into the side of the ravine.
 
Visit one 436 foot dugout house that was home to nine families. The site is open to the public on Saturdays only from July 5th to July 26th. Guided tours are available at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
 
Located 8 kilometers, South-East of Blaine Lake.
