Protecting the safety, health, and well-being of residents is a core responsibility of the Village of Borden. Protection services are delivered through a combination of volunteer services, regional partnerships, and emergency planning, ensuring reliable response when it matters most.
Police Services
Policing services for the Village of Borden are provided by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) through the Warman Detachment.
The RCMP is responsible for law enforcement, crime prevention, and emergency response within the community.

Through ongoing training and regional cooperation, the Fire Department plays a vital role in fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency response.
Emergency Measures
The Village of Borden maintains an Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) and Emergency Response Plan to prepare for and respond to emergencies that may impact the community or region.
The Emergency Response Plan:

The Village is also a participating member of the Highway 16 Fire Protection and Emergency Services Commission, supporting coordinated regional emergency response.
